Our Story
What started behind the decks at a legendary Florida nightclub in the late ‘90s has grown into a full-service DJ company trusted by couples, schools, and companies across the Pacific Northwest. After years of spinning vinyl at clubs and raves, I launched Music Masters to bring that same passion and energy to weddings, school dances, corporate parties and private events — with a more personalized, professional approach.
Since 2005, Music Masters has evolved with the times but never lost its roots in real DJing. My wife Lisa joined the company in 2009, bringing her own energy and creativity to the team. Together, we’ve built Music Masters into something we’re proud of: a boutique DJ service that blends professionalism, great music, and a genuine love for helping people celebrate.
From the first planning call to the final track of the night, we make sure your event feels like you — not a cookie-cutter playlist. That’s why so many of our clients become lifelong fans (and friends).

1999
The Beginning
Where it all began. Spinning Drum and Bass on 4 decks at Fat Kat in Jacksonville, Florida. It was gritty, packed, and full of energy — the perfect proving ground to learn how to move a crowd and trust your instincts.
2005
Last Show in Florida
My last night in Florida was a big one — opening for Kaskade at Club 5. That set marked the end of one chapter and the start of a new one as I moved across the country to Washington State.

Music Masters is Born
After years of DJing clubs and raves, I launched Music Masters with a new focus: high-quality, personalized DJ services for weddings, school dances, and corporate events. It was time to bring professional-level entertainment to more than just the club scene.
2009
Master Becomes the Masters
In 2009, Lisa joined the company and everything changed — in the best way. With her positive energy, attention to detail, and natural flair for organization, she brought a new level of polish and professionalism to Music Masters. What started as a one-DJ operation officially became a family business built on collaboration and trust. Together, we’ve DJed countless weddings, parties, and events — each one better because we do it as a team.
