Nestled on 25 lush acres just outside Poulsbo in North Kitsap County, Red Cedar Farm offered Nick & Crystal a wedding day environment that was equal parts rustic charm and party-ready energy.  A century-old barn, vintage arcade full of pinball machines, goats and donkeys roaming near the fields, and a stone fire pit that glowed under the evening lights all combined into a venue that you don’t forget easily.

Setting the Scene

From the moment guests arrived at the farm’s terrace courtyard or winding driveway, the mood was relaxed yet purposeful. They were stepping into a space where barn beams and farm-landscape met curated fun: the arcade room, the fire-lit outdoors, the animal-visiting area — all told you this wasn’t your typical ballroom wedding.

A Playlist with Personality

Nick & Crystal’s open dancing setlist told the story of their personalities: classic Motown, 80s singalongs, and indie dance favorites that kept every generation on the floor. From Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered to Uptown Funk and Feel It Still, the mix felt timeless yet modern.

They wanted songs that everyone could enjoy — parents, college friends, kids, and grandparents alike — and the dance floor never let up. At one point, the room went wild to Love Shack and Twist and Shout, only to jump straight into Daft Punk Is Playing at My House. It was that kind of night: joyfully unpredictable and full of energy.

A Timeless Kitsap Celebration

Looking back, this wedding is a reminder of why Red Cedar Farm remains such a favorite among couples in the Northwest. It’s relaxed but elegant, private yet welcoming, and always ready for a great party. Nick & Chrystal’s celebration captured all of that — a beautiful night of music, laughter, and love under the cedar rafters.
